1. Enable Linux on Your Chromebook (if not already enabled)

Linux (Beta), also known as Crostini, allows you to run Linux applications on your Chromebook.

1. Click on the time at the bottom-right corner of your screen.
2. Select Settings.
3. In the left-hand menu, click Advanced >Developers.
4. Next to Linux development environment, click Turn On.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up Linux. This may take several minutes.

Once set up, a Terminal window will open, indicating that the Linux environment is ready.
